Getting Here Made Easy: Visit by Foot, Ferry, Bus, Bike or Car
Vashon by bus is easy breezy! Search for Vashon Bus Schedule and open the King County Metro schedule. Vashon has 2 bus lines that both go through town and in front of The Lodges on Vashon.
The bus runs south to town through a beautiful farm and forest on the main highway from the Vashon North End ferry dock through town approx. every 45 min until just before 7pm.
The ride is only about 10 min long and requires no transfers and stops right in front of The Lodges, across the street from the Public Library just as it gets into the town center. Make sure to have bus fare in cash for each rider (small bills or coins only).
Ask the driver or a local for any specifics on getting to town or really anywhere on the island! Once you are at The Lodges you are a block away from almost all of Vashon’s shops and restaurants.

The ride from Fauntleroy by car or as a walk-on is 15-20 min
